| So many seem to think that this was was the best generation...
But what is? Please explain if you think it is the best or not and your reason why. |

| I think this is the best generation. Awesome new pokemon, fairly challengin and best of all, breeding. Not to mention this addition of Aipom.  Eugh, I mention Aipom waaay too much. xD |

| well it was a very good generation but i think it was not that challenging because the levels where way under the aervage in other games. i think they wanted to make is not as hard as the first gen because the first gen games where more challenging but it went to low i mean a level 9 ace for the first gym is to low |

Agreed, because the E4 was really low leveled. I mean, I beat them with a level 35 - 40 team. |

| R/S/E was the best.
Some people hated the water routes, but i loved them because you felt like you were free, a pioneer on the ocean |

| Best generation because it introduced sooo many new features, new pokemon, my first pokemon game and it was really advanced for 1999 in japan.
Also Umbreons my fave pokemon so yeah xD |

| RSE...meh. It was good, definitely, but just not as good as GSC.
I mean, it had all of the greatest ideas, the separation of Sp. Atk and Sp. Def, and had TWO regions. TWO. (Admittedly, one of them was ruined by low levels, but meh.) |
